If you are not able to attend the polling station and this arose/occured after 5pm on the Wednesday 26th June, for one of the following reasons
You have a medical emergency
You area away for work
Your photo ID has been lost, stolen, destroyed or damaged

The next election of the UK Parliament has been called for Thursday 4th July 2024.

Last to to be registered in time - midnight on Tuesday 18th June 2024 - THIS HAS NOW PASSED
Last day to apply for a postal vote in time - 5pm on Wednesday 19th June 2024 - THIS HAS NOW PASSED
Last day to apply for a Voter Authority Certificate (Free ID if you don't have anything suitable) is - 5pm Wednesday 26th June 2024 - THIS HAS NOW PASSED

Absent Voting

3rd October 2023

The rules around applying for an absent vote (voting by post or proxy) changed from Tuesday 31st October, therefore if you are applying or have an application form already from us, this must be returned to our office no later than Monday 30th October.

Voter ID

From October 2023, for UK Parliamentary Elections and currently for any by-elections and Recall Petitions, you will be required to have Photo ID to be able to cast your vote at these types of elections.

Non-Domestic Revaluation – Publication of Draft Valuation Roll

30th November 2022

The draft Valuation Roll for the 2023 Revaluation was published on 30 November 2022. The final Valuation Roll will be published on 1 April 2023.

All non-domestic properties, other than those excluded by legislation, will be revalued on 1 April 2023. This means that the fourteen Assessors across Scotland will set new Net Annual and Rateable Values for all such non-domestic properties in their areas based on rental levels as at 1 April 2022. This is the first non-domestic revaluation since 1 April 2017, with revaluations scheduled to take place every three years following the forthcoming revaluation on 1 April 2023.

Valuation Roll

The Valuation Rolls for the 2017 Revaluation for the Clackmannanshire, Stirling and Falkirk Councils were made up on 15 March 2017. Notices to all Proprietors, Tenants and Occupiers will be sent out from the 17 March 2017
