Every year we attend various events at both Stirling University and Forth Valley College to promote and raise awareness of Electoral Registration. This includes:- Checking if you are registered Help and advise getting registered Providing information if you don’t want vote in person, eg get a postal or proxy vote Help understand the new requirements of Voter ID for certain elections Any other questions around Electoral Registration

  Yes, as a student you can register at both home and your student accommodation.

• How do I register?

  You can register online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.

  All you need is your personal details, including your National Insurance Number.

• What ID do I need to vote?

  Depending on the election you may need to bring ID to be able to cast your vote. There are many forms of acceptable ID, full details are on our Voter ID page.
