Elections in 2024
There will be a local government by-election in Ward 21, Fort William and Ardnamurchan on Thursday 21 November 2024.
You must be 16 or over by 21 November 2024 and registered to vote, to be able to vote in this election. You can find further information on how to register to vote here.
If you want to apply for a postal or proxy vote, application forms can be found on the Electoral Commission’s website.
How to return your application form to us
You can return completed application forms to any of our offices by post or by email to [email protected] – we can only accept black & white clear scanned images under 50MB (51200kB). We cannot accept photographs of application forms. Address details for our offices can be found here

Electoral Registration Officer deadline dates are noted below.
